These sites will help you find your way. Georgia's State Parks – Helpful Hint: At this site if you click on the map to the right, it will give youthe state parks in that section of Georgia. Vogel in the northeast corner of the state is one in particular that I really liked. We were there for the hiking and storytelling last fall and I can definitely recommend it.   Lake Lanier Fishing Lake Lanier Maps - Navigation, Fishing and Recreation (parks and marinas) Georgia Hiking Helpful Hint: Many of the trails, particularly those accessing the Appalachian Trail are within an hour of Cumming.
